Family Promise of Greater Merced's Wish List

things on our Wish List or know somebody who does.
13 Host Congregations
* If
our network can recruit 13 congregations to host homeless families that would mean each congregation
would only have to host guests 4 times per year.
FAMILY DAY CENTER
* We need to obtain a Family Day Center in the city of Merced, which will have a washer and dryer, 2 complete bathrooms, an office, and a lounge.
PASSENGER VAN AND TRUCK
* A van to carry the guests from the host congregation to the Family Day Center. A truck will also be needed to transport beds and personal belongings.
WAREHOUSE
*A space sufficient to store donated furnishings for homeless families who find permanent housing.
FUNDS
* It is estimated that the operation cost of Family Promise of Greater Merced will be approximately $90,000. To get started it was suggested that we acquire
one third of that amount. Once Family Promise of Greater Merced obtains 501(c)(3) status from the IRS we will be able to provide tax receipts for any
individual or company that will donate to us.
